Before your appointment

How long does a typical appointment take?
It depends on your dog's breed, coat and condition. We'll give you a rough idea when you book — no all-day stays, and we'll always call when your dog is ready.
Do you handle nervous dogs?
Yes, and it's genuinely one of our specialities. We work at your dog's pace, take regular breaks, and never use force or restraint beyond what's needed for safety. Tell us about any anxieties when booking so we can plan accordingly.
What products do you use?
Hypoallergenic and natural ranges as standard — gentle on skin and safer for dogs with allergies. We can also use medicated shampoos if your vet has prescribed one (please bring it with you).
Is a deposit required?
Yes — a 20% deposit secures your slot. This protects against no-shows and is fully deducted from your final bill. Free to cancel up to 24 hours before your appointment.
Do you groom matted dogs?
We'll always assess first. Light matting we can usually brush out, but heavily matted coats may need to be clipped short for the dog's welfare — we'll always explain options before starting.
